It’s a beautiful place. The air is clean, the sky is blue. Grasslands roll as far as the eye can see. This is what we love about our region. And it’s why Heartland Consumers Power District is dedicated to preserving our environment, with clean, efficient methods for producing and delivering energy and by investing in the technology required to make these methods even better.

The South Dakota Public Utilities has announced a voluntary energy efficiency program for our state's utilities.  Even though Heartland is not a regulated utility, we are prepared to be a leader in reaching the Commission's goals and objectives.
