Heartland supplies power and energy to nineteen municipal electric systems in South Dakota, seven in Minnesota and one in Iowa.  We also provide similar services to six state institutions in South Dakota, as well as to a portion of the service area of Northern Electric Power Cooperative near Frederick, South Dakota.
