Tackling a project?
Heartland provides grants to help foster growth and development as well as improve efficiencies and increase the quality of life in your community. If you have a specific project on the radar that meets one of the following criteria, you may be eligible for an economic development grant. The only catch--you have to apply. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Who's Eligible?
Heartland customers and their local economic development corporations.
How do you apply?
The grant application can be found here or contact Russell Olson at (605) 256-6536 for more information. Completed applications may be submitted electronically via the PDF above/below or printed and mailed to 432 SE 12th Street, Madison, SD 57042.
Program Success
Since 1997 Heartland has issued 185 grants to 18 customers for more than $530,000.
