Now is the time to invest in energy efficient products and take advantage of the incentives provided by Heartland Consumers Power District and the city of Howard. 

Businesses served by Howard's municipal electric department are eligible for incentives to upgrade to more efficient lighting. Residents may receive rebates for replacing old appliances with new, ENERGY STAR models. Rebates are also available for installing ENERGY STAR qualified air-source heat pumps, central air conditioners and geothermal heat pumps.
